Louisiana politicians ain't known for being the sharpest pencils in the box. I really think the "Blanco" thing is in his mind.

so I figure the only other out would be if he runs against Mary Landrieu in 2014.

I really hope he does because that is the one sure way to get the "Whore from Naw'lins" out of the senate.

I myself have been thinking about Jindal challenging Landrieu in ‘14. The governor does need to show he is a strong candidate by winning re-election next year, and by a comfortable margin at that.
