In August, in what was considered a surprising move at the time, Palin attached her name to a letter and survey that was mailed to RNC donors soliciting contributions for the committee's Victory 2010 program, a nationwide get-out-the-vote effort.

I got another one last week. I shredded it and made some contributions directly to candidates of my choice instead.

No gripe with Palin, though...she is right in saying we are going to have to use the existing Republican machine instead of going third party. Think of it as moving into an abused and decaying old house, rolling up your sleeves and going room to room, shoring up walls and windows, throwing out lots of trash and making it something new and solid.

Good analogy...and I, too, bypass the RNC when it comes to giving.

I knew nothing about this...
Anything from the RNC goes directly into the round file. They have nothing to say that I will even take the time to open and read. No matter WHOSE name they flaunt.
