Partridge Family?
Agreed. I thought Steele would be GREAT in this position. However he is very unimpressive and forgettable.
I would rather Sarah Palin work to change the listless uneventful ungainly unleading uninspiring GOP into the organization it is needed to be. I think she feels obligated to them In truth ... she is not.
LOL..Palin fights the establishment!
What a joke Palin is sometimes.
Look the primaries are over, we want ALL the Republican candidates to win now.
Now, is the time that we have to all pull together. Of course Sarah is going to campaign for Republicans.
Huh? Rush always speaks for himself and he continues to voice strong accolades for Sarah.
Nice try, Mittons!
>>Shes also letting the RINO RNC use her name in fundraising appeals.<<
How would you suggest we take over the GOP if she doesnt get involved?
I’m okay with this. Palin will bring a tremendous boost to the rallies and fire up people the way Steele simply can’t or won’t. Pragmatically, it’s good business for setting up a 2012 run or auditioning to be the next RNC chair, too.
As for Steele..*shrug*. He’s been a huge disappointment (to put it mildly). I would have preferred to have replaced him months ago, but maybe the powers that be decided that would have hurt more than helped. Either way, he’ll surely be gone and out of our collective hair by January.
There are 2 important political tasks in 2010. One is kicking out dems from office. The other is taking over the republican party.
Sarah is working hard at doing both.
It's obvious that if Mrs. Palin were to abandon the Republican party and head out on her own to perhaps start a 3rd party it would take many election cycles to actually get to the point where the current crop of RINO’s and marxists would be thinned out enough to actually make a difference.
Maybe I'm missing some secret formula that would be a better plan of action? Would you care to point out a more effective and viable alternative?
All I know is I haven’t given the RNC a nickel in over a decade. George Washington could resurrect and campaign with Steele, and I still wouldn’t donate.
How does raising money to prop up the RINO RNC establishment and help them stay in power help us take it over?
What helps us is to let the RNC fail while taking power back from the bottom up at the local level, and then vote the RINOs out at the RNC.
There is an old saying that goes, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.”
It looks as though McPalin has opted to join them instead of beating them.
Steele was just here in CO campaigning for Dan Maes. That shows you what a dud he is.
Visions of a Gallagher show! I have my tarps and rain coats ready!

You’re kidding?
BUMP
So your implication is that anyone who joins the RNC to become a member of a local REC as a means of changing it from within is now an establishment hack?
Would you like cheddar or jack to go along with your whine?
No, I wish I were kidding.
RNC Chair Steele urges Colorado GOP to support Maes

Well, on the bright side, that is likely only to help Tancredo. LOL
