Only several weeks ago, few observers were willing to give Colorados 7th Congressional District Republican nominee and Aurora City Councilman Ryan Frazier a chance...
Yet, over the past few weeks, the race shows signs of tightening. Frazier could end up joining a potential wave of Black Republicans poised for an unprecedented trip to Capitol Hill.
With analysts writing off the 7th District as likely Democrat, there have been few public polls taken to gauge the November outcome. One polling firm known for its GOP ties, Magellan Strategies, put Frazier ahead by one point, 40% to 39%. As a result, Frazier is suddenly enjoying a massive infusion of cash from Republican fundraising networks, including an unusually large anti-Perlmutter ad buy of nearly $600,000 from the American Future Fund.
The National Republican Congressional Committee this week announced that Frazier would be placed on its list of 75 Young Guns slated to receive a dose of last minute cash. In recent Federal Election Commission filings, Frazier showed only $252,000 in the bank compared to Perlmutters $1.3 million.

Frazier placed on list of 75 Young Guns
Excellent news. Keep pushing against the Dems, they don’t have a leg to stand on
Good news- thanks for posting.
With the situation in the Governor contest clarifying, with Tancredo emerging as the de facto Republican candidate, the prospects for all Republicans in the state will improve.
Expect the Senate race in this state to be moved to “Leans Republican.”
Expect the Governor race to be moved to merely “Leans Democrat,” if not “Toss-up.”
Expect this Congressional Race to be moved to merely “Leans Democrat,” if not “Toss-up.”
Thanks for the ping. Frazier is the real deal. He will be an excellent US Rep for CO.
National race rankings are generally way behind the times. Frazier has a great shot at this one.
One race after another is tipping in our direction. We have one month to go.
Perlmutter needs the boot.
Ryan Frazier (CO07)
Tim Scott (SC01)
Allen West (FL22)
Are there any other African-American Republican candidates?

There are 14 here.
I really don’t know. I was supporting Frazier for over a month before finding out he himself is black. I knew about West too.
I still think it’s funny that we may well have a number of black Republicans in office and they won’t be invited to the House Black Caucus. The Democrats use race as a weapon. It’s not race, it’s all about power and money. The Democrats use race as a straw man reason to keep black voters on their plantation.
Even the DUmmies are worried.
with the departure of Colorado State Senate President Peter Groff and the term-limited retirement of state House Speaker Terrance Carroll...
Democrats believed they were turning CO blue, and the red portion of the electorate has bounced back to smack them in their smarmy faces. Regardless of our governor’s race, voters are pretty fed up with the status quo.
Your Gov race makes me wanna barf.
Last poll I saw.
Hincklepooper 46%
Tancredo 34%
Maes 15%
