Thanks Bokababe! Great read; gonna tag this one. I have a limited knowledge of Sobran’s writings but it’s my understanding that he sortof went off the rails towards the end. Dunno about that, just something I picked up over the last day or two. Still in all, he had a firm grasp on what our Founders and our founding principles were about.

He seemed to me, like Russell Kirk, to be a Yankee who thought more like a Southerner.
