My impression is that he speaks high school Spanish....he’s not a native speaker but he thought it would be a good idea to learn to “keep it real.” I’d be surprised if he’s good enough to be on Univision.

He says in the interview that he didn’t know ANY English when he was a child in Miami—not sure exactly what he DID speak.
