BOSTON - Independent gubernatorial candidate Timothy Cahill suffered another high-level defection Friday, as his running mate Paul Loscocco announced he was abandoning his campaign for lieutenant governor and instead endorsing Republican Charles Baker.

Good. The thought of that little squirt Deval being re-elected is nauseating.
Unintended or not, the only purpose of Cahill's campaign is to help the Big Government candidate (Deval Patrick) get re-elected. Cahill's staff seems to realize this and they are jumping ship in an effort to help Republican Charlie Baker beat Patrick.
If Cahill is hanging in there, then there are two choices:
1) He's too stupid to realize that he is helping the fiscal Liberal
2) He's a fiscal Liberal himself, campaigning under false pretences.
Baker is FOR RomneyCARE.
Winning this race, means ObamaCARE has a serious
likelihood of surviving.
I would love to be proved wrong on this one.
He's running for governor. How will that have an effect on Congress repealing ObamaCARE?
We were thrilled to get Scott Brown. By far the best choice in that race.
Then we were dismayed when people across the country started talking about "Scott Brown in 2012!" We knew who he was. Scott Brown is a Liberal who supports Obama on almost everything. He's a MA Republican.
Losing this race means Barack Communistcare has just as a serious likelihood of surviving.
One key to ensuring its demise is not have Romney running in 2012.
Anything is better than Deval Patrick.
Cahill must have been promised a fat job in DC to run as an obvious strawman.

I agree. Cahill is not a legitimate candidate...he’s a plant from the Patrick administration to split the vote.
“Scott Brown is a Liberal who supports Obama on almost everything.”
He does in a pigs ass,He gone off the reservation twice. He has to run again against a huge democrat machine in this state who already started their campaign against him.He got elected with less than a half a turn to go in it.Give him a f’n break.
If a man sees politics as a career, and as a method of self promotion and self enrichment, then that man will vote in whatever way seems most likely to pereptuate a long career of "public service". When I see a Republican voting for ObamaCare, I know that this is a man with no principles -- a man who cares only for himself and the glorious life he can lead feeding at the public trough.
This is PRECISELY what is wrong with both parties.
Men of principle who wish to be real public servants will vote the right way and not pay attention to the fact that the Democrat machine has already started their campaign against them.
Politicians either think about what's best for the country or what's best for themselves. I know what kind of man Scott Brown is.
Baker and Tisei are anti-family. Baker himself said on social issues, he’s to the left of Obama. The last hour of yesterday’s Howie Carr Show was filled with callers saying they won’t vote for Baker. Plus Tisei was the only Republican to vote against the Income Tax Rollback. Tisei is also for RomneyCare.
How long before Cahill himself drops out? And would he endorse Baker?
A couple ardent pro-lifers called into Howie Carr yesterday to say they wouldn’t vote for anti-lifer Baker and instead vote for supposed pro-lifer Cahill. Under “vote for lesser evils” they are correct in an otherwise legitimate candidate field - key word LEGITIMATE.
This was the problem in some very few places with the 1990’s RTL party....though there were almost always legit prolife Repubs who could fulfill “lesser of (two) evils” concept, and thus could be voted for.
Cahill IS NOT A LEGITIMATE CANDIDATE (as a VERY few of REAL RTL party pro-lifers in 1990’2) and moreover IS NOT A LEGITIMATE PRO-LIFER.
THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS IS BAKER. PRO-LIFERS SHOULD VOTE FOR HIM OR NOT VOTE AT ALL. Cahill is simply a fake, a ruse.
He never voted for Obamacare so what are you talking about.
Baker screwed those insured with Harvard Pilgrim
by raising rates 150%, then claiming he saved the
company money.
Then he walked away to support RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE.
Cahill better buck up with Dr. Stein if she is
against it, too.
