Also watching at home on television were at least five whistle-blowers who noted that the Reds were violating Ohio's indoor-smoking ban. They called Cincinnati's health department to report the team and now the Cincinnati Enquirer reports the club is under investigation.

These nanny-state anti-smoking zealots sicken me.
When they were trying to get the issue on the ballot they were hanging out at polling stations on election day harassing voters to sign the petition. They were right outside the door and violating the 150 foot law in Ohio. When I refused to sign the petition this effete snot in his tweed jacket and his goatee sneered at me “I see. You don;t care if children get lung cancer from second hand smoke!”
I walked in and complained to a deputy sheriff that this joker was viiolating the law and harassing me.
When I went out after voting he was standing at the 150 boundary marker and giving me the stink eye. I stopped in front of him and fired up a Macanudo Robusto and let out a big puff of smoke in his direction. I said “have a nice day!” and strolled over to me ride.
I was thrilled to see my Reds smoking stogies and celebrating.
The complaints were phoned in by people watching at home on television.
“Your progressive neighbors can then demonstrate their liberalism, as the smell of burning crack wafts into their airspace...”
Actually they were neighbors to my workplace, which happens to be in residential building, we kind of share a courtyard in back. No worries though, they moved out shortly after, I think when they realized the city wasn’t going to do anything about their complaints.
When I saw this story yesterday, I was kind of wondering if maybe some of those who reported the Reds were folks who were against the ban and wanted people to see just how ridiculous and offensive it really was. Maybe if people saw the actual effect of what they voted for, they might have a chance to change things.
did they complain about the big chew in someone’s mouth ,too?
