I dont get involved in the particulars of promoting political candidates.....but in New Yorks 20th Congressional District this year one of the rarest individuals I have ever met.....if we are going to save the country, we need leaders like Gibson”

I just made my donation to Sean Bielat’s campaign. He’s the outstanding young Republican candidate going up against Barney Frank here in Massachusetts. I had made up my mind to give a certain amount. Sat and agonized over it for a while — the sort of stuff you usually think about before donating: life is uncertain for all of us, and you could end up really needing the money later on. Ended up giving twice the amount I’d earlier decided to give. It’s still a very piddling contribution compared to what others before us have done to win our freedom.
Thanks for telling us about the matching funds, Steelers6; it helped me make the right decision.
Sparky: Thanks for the “heads up” about the rally for Sean Bielat in Taunton. Enjoyed the speeches and was impressed with this most deserving candidate.

California’s 11th district is one of the most competitive in the state, which is one of the reasons Rep. Jerry McNerney (D) is struggling to hang onto it.
The Republican candidate is attorney David Harmer, who has been attacked by the DNC with multiple negative ads and mailings. The Dems know this seat is slipping away from them and they have declared war on David. Instead of being proud of his record and discussing the issues, Jerry has decided to make the race a personal one. While David points out that “Jerry McNerney has been adamant in his support for Nancy Pelosi and (President Barack) Obama’s big-government agenda”, Jerry can only bismerch David’s character - which has been responded to by Lisa Vordebrueggen of the Contra Costa Times who writes “McNerneys claims fall considerably short of the truth.” As we have seen in many races throughout the country - this is the modis operandi of the Dems.
Incidently, David has been supported by Dick Morris who even blasted out a message to his e-mail list subscribers heaping praise on David Harmer, a challenger for a northern California-based seat.
Please visit David’s website and contribute: http://www.harmerforcongress.com/ whether it is $5, $7, $10 or more. We need your support!
