It’s nice to trade with neighbors, but not at the expense of the country’s ability to fend for itself if it has to.
The problem has not been the terms of trade. It has been and is American high taxation of business and arbitrary and over-regulation. Clamping down on trade, initiating a trade war is merely a way to cement the Depression on us for real. That will bring us Obamunism big big time and irreversibly.
