Locked and Loaded: The Secret World of Extreme Militias (Here we go . . .)

Camouflaged and silent, the assault team inched toward a walled stone compound for more than five hours, belly-crawling the last 200 yards. The target was an old state prison in eastern Ohio, and every handpicked member of Red Team 2 knew what was at stake: The year is 2014, and a new breed of neo-Islamic terrorism is rampant in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio ... The current White House Administration is pro-Muslim and has ordered a stand-down against Islamic groups. The mission: Destroy the terrorist command post — or die trying. The fighters must go in "sterile" — without name tags or other identifying insignia — as a deniable covert force. "Anyone who is caught or captured cannot expect extraction," the briefing officer said.

At nightfall the raiders launched their attack. Short, sharp bursts from their M-16s cut down the perimeter guards. Once past the rear gate, the raiders fanned out and emptied clip after clip in a barrage of diversionary fire. As defenders rushed to repel the small team, the main assault force struck from the opposite flank. Red Team 1 burst through a chain-link fence, enveloping the defense in lethal cross fire. The shooting was over in minutes. Thick grenade smoke bloomed over the command post. The defenders were routed, headquarters ablaze.

As asked in the story: Who are the redcoats?

Simple.

The “redcoats” are those enemies who would try to bend the state of Ohio to their will. But isn’t it funny how this “secret” militia happens to bear the name of its home state. Not much of a secret, is it?

Here’s a quick lesson for any reporter from Time or other leftist “big media” organization. (Real reporters do their homework and should know better, so they’re excused.) —

A “militia” is an army made up of citizens and they have loyalty to the state that is their home. (Just for fun, try actually reading the Second Amendment.)

A “private army” or a “secret commando team” or a “mercenary squad” or “trained assassins” or “guns for hire” would NOT be a militia and should not be confused with a militia. Got that? Let’s recap.

A “militia” is the good guys, ready to defend their homes if (God forbid) it becomes necessary. They’re not a problem, especially since they’re my neighbors.

People with guns are just people with guns. They’re not a problem (guns are legal, remember?) unless they have evil intent. Otherwise, ignore them.

Now, take your reporter’s notebook and go sit alongside a well-worn trail near the Mexico-Arizona border, then count how many people walk past you. If any of those people commit evil upon you, then you need the Arizona militia to bail you out because the feds won’t do it. But you’ve just insulted ALL militia members everywhere so maybe you won’t get any assistance after all. Too bad.

Also, what about the Leftist militias?

Are we to believe SEIU and other Leftist organizations like the Communist Party USA don’t have armed groups within their establishments?

Hmmm? Red Guards?
