I know that’s what Bambi had in mind, but what is he going to do when the courts knock out his little plan as unconstitutional? What it will end up with is no insurance for anyone. If you want it, you have to buy it yourself.
That's the way it always should have been. I think around WWII people started getting covered through their employer as a sort of "wage increase" and it was a mistake that led us to where we are today.
If Obama's plan collapses (and I think it will) we may have a chance to transition to individuals choosing plans from across the country. I'd love to see legislation which opens up additional choices rather than steers us into a rotten single payer plan.
Obama hates America and he’s laying waste to as much of America as he can before he’s thrown out of office.
Actually, I think that might be a good thing. If we are buying it ourselves, it may affect packages/pricing offered.
As much as I HATE the whole “healthcare reform” crap, I must say that insurance companies haven’t done much to help their cause, and even got into bed with the administration with the promise of all these new subscribers. Now they will find out that you just can’t trust a bunch of liars.
