Because campaigning is all about the narcisst in chief, but being President must by definition be about the nation, and we know what matters more to Hussein.

2008 gave America an incredibly charismatic candidate for President of the United States. Oh, please.
Maybe if you thought David Hasslehoff's talking car was charismatic.

0bummie enjoys running for office and the perks that come with winning that office. That about sums him up. Easily bored, if he could run for something higher than the POTUS he would.

I don't know who this “White House Insider” is, if there is one. Heck this just may be wishful thinking by some writer I have never heard of, but this insider sure makes 0bama sound a lot like a certain supply ship captain.
However there was no mention of the ball bearings.

This actually fits with so much- the missing school records that probably show not so hot grades, the narcissism of the guy who needs the adulation.
Last night I was busy when O’Reilly was on but I thought Woodward said our current Afghanistan policy is designed by Obama. And then I believe BOR said that Obama thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room and Woodward agreed. If this is true it’s absolutely shocking - Obama pretending to be a 5 star general when actual lives are at stake???
Anyone know if that is actually what Woodward said?

What this is saying is Barack Obama is a shallow individual. Like often has been repeated on FR, a Zero. Who among us didn't know that? And of course the administration he picks is going to be shallow, egotistical people; they certainly can't be any deeper thinking than the Man, ala Janet Napolitano.
But like the man says he can win a campaign, so what does that say about the American electorate?
We have a long long way to go, if we ever do get there, and personally I don't think the Republican Party, because it refuses to speak the truth (personal responsibility, self honesty, and independence - citizens and business), even when in the minority and powerless, helps the cause in any way.
That's why we advocate a third or more parties, someone needs to say it.
