The college kids and other liberals saw what they wanted to see in Obama and thought he was likable. I don't see how anyone who doesn't agree with him politically would see him as likable--he is arrogant and dismissive of anyone who doesn't support him (47% on election day, and growing since then). Even someone as controversial as Nixon tried to win over people who didn't start out liking him--but Obama has declared war on anyone who isn't his supporter.
Some very liberal woman was on C-SPAN this past weekend talking about how wonderful it would be if Biden and Hillary changed jobs. I don't think Obama would go far that solution--fear of Arkancide.
