RICHMOND, Va. — "Daily Show" host Jon Stewart has won some high-level backing for his "Rally to Restore Sanity" next month in Washington: President Barack Obama. Stewart says the Oct. 30 rally is for people who think the loudest voices shouldn't be the only ones that get heard.

Obama raised the subject of the rally during a round-table Wednesday with residents of Richmond, Va.

Pokin' his nose into local business, again, just like Boston and the Ground Zero Mosque. I guess the Democrats weren't losing big enough for him.

The fact that this guy who was basically a professional whiner (aka community organizer) for years whining about people with loud voices is delicious.

Obama is still running for office...he has no idea what acting presidential is

Being presidential certainly isnt backing a rally that is a comedians answer to the Tea Party

Obama doesnt just take sides....he wont even look at the other side

the loudest voices shouldn't be the only ones that get heard

This from a person who has gotten saturation coverage from an adoring media for over two years.

I’m all for this rally. Most of dumb kids who get their news from Stewart will be in DC and may stick around for a few extra days or be too hungover to vote on the following Tuesday. Maybe Obama’s support will increase turnout among his fan base and hurt the GOTV efforts for local Dems.

I have noticed they are trying very hard through the media to make Obozo look like a centrist ot moderate.

That is why his attacks on his lefty base.

Don’t let them get away with this.

Saturday all of Obozo’s commie buds are coming together in DC. They aren’t going to hide who they are. That is why the Stewart and Colbert moderate sanity rally. It is to offset the other rally and liken the Tea party to be nuts like the crazy commies coming to town.

I hope that every Democrat operative and union hack in the nation marches on Washington the weekend before the election instead of working on getting out the vote in competitive races.

The 'Sanity rally' will pay some bands to perform - get young people out for a free concert - and pretend it's a political movement.

The good think is the press will buy it... well, they'd buy it if 50 union guys who can't read showed up... and George Soros was paying 'em double time... and none of them cared a fig about the issues... That said, I like Jon Stewart - someday he'll be a conservative with us...

They will, but pay attention to the AP headline. Obama is backing the so called moderate rally. All their operatives are out there tonight claiming the Tea party people are far right religious bigots etc.

See Obozo is going to back the so called consensus in the middle. This is a technique to fool people.

We all know his real heart is with the cabal of commies marching there.

Oh isn’t that rich.

But he wasn’t aware of 500,000 Americans having a barbeque in his backyard, last month?

This guy is a third world hick.
