Some wit suggested that Obama can actually claim he talked to Jesus.

“He even offered Jesus a bunch of stuff. All Jesus had to do was jump off a cliff or something.”

The Devil can quote scripture.

Generally he misquotes it.

Those who do not know the Word will be fooled.

Polls drop.. more and more see that he is really a Muslim and suddenly as a PR stunt he finds Jesus. He is repulsive.

The quality of Barack’s lies leave alot to be desired. You’d think he’d be more adept at it by now.

You know what they say - the devil hides behind the cross.

When Obama gave a speech at a university (Georgetown as far as I can recollect) he specifically had the cross behind him covered over. That is strange for a Christian to do.

“Did Jesus tell you to vote against the ban on partial birth abortion, BO?”

Some reporter should ask POTUS point blank whether he believes Jesus would have supported abortion—especially partial birth abortion—and if so, what part of the scripture is he relying on to reach that conclusion.

It’s not Jesus speaking.

“...abortion should be safe, legal, and rare.”

Abortion is never safe. When performed properly it leaves one dead and one wounded for life.

Legal? The real question: Is it moral to destroy an innocent life?

Rare? If democrats were serious about wanting abortion to be rare they would insist that we stop public funding of abortions and that a $10,000 tax penalty be placed on any medical professional that performs more than one abortion in a year.

His quote is exactly what a Muslim would say...they acknowledge the historicity of Jesus and even refer to Him as a prophet...to say “his teachings spoke to me...” sounds muslim...

But what we can do, as flawed as we are, is still see God in other people and do our best to help them find their own grace.”

zer0 seriously needs a little more coaching. Helping people find their own grace is about as unbiblical a statement as one could possibly make. The biblical view that the human heart is desperately wicked hardly speaks to finding any grace within an individual. The grace we seek is strictly God’s doing and is extended to those who submit to His lordship and are so saved.

I’m wondering how much grace the newly proclaimed Christian found in Billy Ayers and Jeremiah Wright?

"President Obama on Tuesday invoked the teachings of Jesus Christ as the inspiration for his public agenda, which he called part of an "effort to express my Christian faith" -

Where is Chris Mathews complaining about Obama's mixing of Church and State? If O'Donnell or Palin or any Republican spoke these exact words, he'd be having a stroke.

"Even the Muslims believe that Jesus was " a good man, teacher, and prophet "

Exactly. Obama, brought up by a mother who was not a Christian, claims to be a Christian "by choice." Yet every denomination requires converts to undergo baptism (whether by sprinkiling, "pouring" or immersion).

But Obama balked and said "No."

When and where did she say that? I know the line "That it is a poverty that a child must die so that you can live as you want..." is from the National Prayer Breakfast in 1994...

A supernatural being spoke to him alright, but it wasn’t Jesus...

The name Lucifer means light and I guess that creature would qualify as a supernatural being...

Man never goes to church unless a muzzie is speaking. He must have Jesus mixed up with hater Jeremiah Wright.
