Lawrence ODonnell proved to be quite the trickster on Tuesday night, when the second episode The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell featured tabloid favorite Levi Johnston as a guest.
After introducing Johnston, describing him as a young man seething with political ambition, ODonnell threw the wannabe mayor of Wasilla a few softball questions before pitching him a curveball: ODonnell would ask Johnston the same questions Katie Couric posed to Sarah Palin in 2008, when Palin was the Republican VP nominee.
Johnston sporting neatly trimmed two-day facial scruff, a white shirt opened a little too far, and a gray blazer (more Marc Jacobs than Brooks Brothers) answered the questions with candid honesty. Meaning, I dont know how to answer that was sort of a mantra. How did ODonnell handle all the uncertainty? By taking the highroad and saluting Johnstons candor. Maybe Alaskans will start to turn your way with that kind of honesty, he told the candidate. Johnston is currently filming a reality show called Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayors Office about his quest to become mayor of Wasilla.
To the question about the magazines and newspapers he reads to shape his worldview (you know the one Palin got so much flak for) Johnston answered: I read the Frontiersman every once in a while
Im not going to sit here and tell you I read a lot of newspapers, I dont get the New York Times, I dont watch a whole lot of news, I dont watch TV that often.

That’s what I’m thinking...we can’t be the only ones who remember his meltdown. WTF??
Sounds like a couple of retards.
