For the first time, Republican challenger Ken Buck now captures more than 50% of the vote in his U.S. Senate bid against Democratic incumbent Michael Bennet in Colorado.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Colorado shows Buck with 51% support, while Bennet earns 43% of the vote with leaners included. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) remain undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
These findings move the race from a Toss-Up to Leans GOP in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings. Two weeks ago, Buck held a 49% to 45% lead when leaners were part of the totals.

Great news! Maybe that’s what bozo meant by “buck up”.
Saw Ken Buck on Face The Nation on Sunday. He seemed like a strong, conservative candidate.
Butbutbutbut I thought Arlen Spectator told us yesterday that the massive moderate middle was going to flex its muscles and send the Tea Party extremists packing?????
FWIW, I think the GOP will actually need to bump its seat count up to 53 to win the Senate. 51 or 52, and there’s always the chance that one or both of the Maine Sistahs will jump ship to “save us from extremism.”
Go Buck!!!!! He was awesome of the Sunday show this last weekend.
Good news.
Great news!!!
BTW, I can’t access Rasmussen here @ work. What are the 0bama approval #s today? No one’s posted them yet. They sucked yesterday.
WV and CT have “unexpectedly” come into play. WI was a long shot, but it looks good for Republicans as Feingold is polling poorly. CA is trending toward Boxer, but WA is coming back into play for Rossi.
Nothing is a given and it’s going to be down to the wire in many states. Voter enthusiasm is crucial and strong conservative turnout will help all the races down the ticket.
So far, the only GOP gimme that may not happen is DE, but that’s not to be ruled out.
SA/SD: 29/43
Overall Approval/Disapproval: 46/52
Thank you!!! Much better than yesterday's.
This means that ACORN will be out in force here in Colorado.
Document everything. Record all.
Don’t let ‘em get away with it again.
They can’t win if they don’t cheat.
Slight palpitation yesterday.
Obama was right
“BUCK UP!!”
He’s great. BTW, His son is at West Point so he has skin in the GWOT.
Now, for all Coloradoans - since with Tancredo at ~34, Maes at ~15, and Hickenlooper at ~44, do we apply the Buckley rule and vote for Tancredo?
Wish Maes would find a sudden job opportunity somewhere overseas....
We vote for Tancredo.
Woo hoo! Too bad about the governor race though.
The left is really beating on his pro-life views. I have heard a few wishy-washy women that know we are on the wrong road in this country whine: but he is against abortion even for rape or incest.
Correct and they may see a Primary challenge ahead. Even Maine voters can not be that stupid.
I wouldn't vote for Tom "Look At Me!!!" Tancredo if you paid me to.
“but he is against abortion even for rape or incest.”
Are you for abortion for rape and incest?
