The former housekeeper for Meg Whitman -- the Republican candidate for Governor of California -- is about to make "controversial and explosive allegations about her former employer," TMZ has learned.
092710_meg_whitman_getty We're told the housekeeper has lawyered up with none other than Gloria Allred. The housekeeper and Allred will hold a news conference today in Gloria's office at 11 AM PT, "to tell how she suffered as a long-time, Latina household employee in Meg Whitman's home.
We're told the housekeeper will be filing a legal claim against Ms. Whitman.
From what we're hearing, the disclosures could have a significant impact on the campaign and possibly the election.
We will, of course, live stream the news conference. It doesn't matter where you live -- Don't miss this one.
It should be pretty easy to verify whether the SS administration sent a letter or not.
IF they did send a letter in 2003, it stands to reason they would have sent more letters. The government is really good at sending letters. They never send just one letter.
Now, how would the housekeeper in 2010 remember the DAY that a letter was in the trash, from 7 years earlier? That suggests the letter still exists. Although that might just prove the housekeeper, who likely was responsible both for getting the mail, and emptying the trash, could have found the letter and taken it.
I also wonder if the pay went through the employment agency, in which case the letter would have gone their, not to Meg’s house.

Well, that’s right. If pot becomes legal in CA, it will still be federally illegal.
LOL. Good idea.
Allred says Santillan is filing a claim with the Labor Commission for back wages and mileage.
******
As early as 1999, Meg Whitman and Griff Harsh retained a placement agency in California to assist them in finding a qualified applicant for in-home domestic services.
In May, 2000, Nicandra Diaz-Santillan filled out a standard application provided by the agency. She provided the agency with a social security number and California driver’s license number as well as filling out a standard employment application including references of prior employers over a lengthy period of time.
In November 2000, Nicandra Diaz-Santillan was hired by Meg Whitman. At the time she was hired, she filled out a standard IRS form W-4 and U.S. Department of Justice Immigration and Naturalization Service form I-9.
Ms. Diaz provided a copy of her Social Security Card and her California Driver’s License.
Ms. Diaz signed the I-9 stating under penalty of perjury that she was a lawful Permanent Resident Alien.
During her employment, Meg Whitman paid state and federal income tax and provided Ms. Diaz with a standard IRS form W-2.
On or about June 20, 2009, Ms. Diaz came to Meg Whitman and Dr. Harsh and confessed that she was not a legal resident and that she had used her sister’s documents to gain employment. Diaz was immediately suspended.
On or about Monday, June 29, 2009, Meg Whitman informed Ms. Diaz that her employment was terminated.
There has been no further contact between Ms. Diaz and Meg Whitman since her termination.]
Meg is talking to Cavuto now.
I think this attack on Meg is a dud. Gloria Allred howling at the moon just makes it comical.
She's preaching to the choir and irritating everyone else. This will be a net plus for Whitman.
Meg Whitman is a Romney-bot joke. Her flip-flop on immigration was so bad, John Kerry would’ve been embarassed. Now she comes out against Prop 23. As far as I can tell, the only real difference between her and Brown is that Brown will destroy what’s left of the state in a shorter time period.
Yes...
WHAT ONCE WAS GOOD IS NOW EVIL
WHAT ONCE WAS EVIL IS NOW GOOD....
Steve Poizner ran his race, long after it became obvious he couldn’t win, and was beaten handily. Either Moonbeam or Meg are going to be governor. I don’t think Meg is a Reagan Republican, but she is a far sight better than Moonbeam.
Ping!
The politics is so dirty this year it is incredible.. I have yet to see anything but slander out there
Yes, when folks use my posts to address reality, it sure couldn’t be good. LOL
Meg did have a good response, and that response may hold up. It may not either.
I’m here right now to let folks know that my initial response may have been wrong. Tell you what, when the RINO supporters are that quick to come and admit their mistakes, you’ll be able to crow quite loudly, when I make some.
Until then, I laugh at your indignation.
Now brown is selling the same crap to get elected, "Green Industry." Brown is likely to win because he's crooked enough to fool some of the people all of the time.
“Prop 19 isnt legal. It tries to overrule Federal Law.”
That’s a big negatory, bubba. Since this particular federal law. like all too many, has NO Constitutional basis, under the tenth Amendment the States hold the sole authority to legislate in this area, all the Supreme Court decisions to the contrary not being worth a bucket of warm spit. Furthermore, it should be a CONSERVATIVE ideal (and is, to REAL conservatives) that the Constitution-shredding war on some drugs be abandoned forthwith by the FedGoons and, at the State level, be put to an IMMEDIATE vote of the People. Any State enforcement actions not exactly aligning with the Constitution should be followed by prosecution of the enforcers in federal courts and the death penalty applied if death or injury happens to any victim of state/local government actions. INCLUDING the shooting of family dogs.
Otherwise, the convicted drug cops should be sent to prison and kept in general population. I think that would end this madness in short order. (By the way, these penalties should also apply to actions taken by the DEA and other illegal FedGoon agencies.)
Pretty much my take on her...
Hopefully they won't give a cr*p about voting......the effects of smoking pot! Poetic justice!!
