If money was a motivation to Sarah, she would have gotten rich serving on the oil and gas commission in AK. We know from her experience there that she is an honest person and more concerned with the welfare of constituents than her personal wealth.

If you read, “Going Rogue”, you’ll see that she is motivated by fulfilling her destiny, walking through doors that are open, maybe doors that have never been open to a woman before.
