I have divided emotions on this.

Sadly, we need someone who can generate enthusium and attract crowds. I say sadly because it is the nature of most people to be attracted to such candidates (see BHO circa 2008). It’s often a matter style, not substance, for the electorate. Not that I don’t think Sarah has substance. She certainly does.

None of the other candidates have the “crowd generating” quality she has. I like the ideas of some, but really don’t see the charisma.

On the other hand, she maybe more valuable in the role she currently occupies. She certainly has full range to speak her mind. That would be silenced in a presidential campaign.

If I were her, or any other candidate, I wouldn’t want the job. It’s pretty well darned if you do don’t. But I’m glad some people are willing to take the abuse.

Would I vote for her...yeah. A debate between Sarah and the Won could be very interesting.

Those are interesting thoughts. I’d love for Sarah to be POTUS but on the other hand I have to say it’s a job I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy...well, almost. Saw a poll the other day showing her negatives almost as high as her positives - that could be a lot to overcome.

Sarah is affecting our country in a huge way just by Facebook, Twitter, endorsing candidates, cheerleading. She is shifting us right and the rats have no choice but to re-think what they’re doing.

I bet the DNC is cursing McCain daily for picking her for the national spotlight.

I don't expect Sarah's outspokenness to change at all in the coming 2012 campaign. She's already made her positions on most issues abundantly clear, and she'll have to re-iterate all of that when the time comes.

Given the tenor of the times, and the current mind-set of the electorate, I expect her to even ratchet it up a few notches. That's exactly what most center-right Americans love about her. She's a no-holds-barred fighter for truth, and unapologetically pro-American.

She will only strengthen that rhetoric during the campaign. It's precisely what the people need and want to hear, and Sarah will deliver in spades.

"....She certainly has full range to speak her mind. That would be silenced in a presidential campaign......"

?????

Why would that necessarily be so? Why would Sarah, running for President, suddenly be forced to not speak her mind and to the issues?

What do you think Sarah believes philosophy and policy-wise that she's put forth during these primaries that she'd hold back during a presidential campaign?

No doubt she would have to be more measured in what she says...but if I didn’t think she would continue to tweak the Left, I wouldn’t vote for her.
