Montana's senators have introduced a bill to remove gray wolves in Idaho and Montana from protection under the federal Endangered Species Act.
The measure was introduced Tuesday by Democrats Max Baucus and Jon Tester. A similar measure was introduced last week by Idaho Republican Sens. Mike Crapo and Jim Risch.

Hello, george76. if you recall the original legislation, it said that no more than 200 wolves can be introduced. Further, it was red Rocky Mt wolves that historically populated the area, not Canadian grey wolves.
We shouldn’t be removing protection from wolves, but declaring open season on eco-fascists and eliminating them with a hang-man’s rope.
I’m also surprised that the usual coterie of leftist agent provocateurs here on FR hasn’t been crying crocodile tears for wolves.
