An Anchorage judge issued restraining orders yesterday against Shawn R. Christy on behalf of Wasilla residents Kristan Cole and former Gov. Sarah Palin, according to court documents.
Cole said she became concerned about Christys letters and e-mails 15 or 16 months ago, but it ended up in court yesterday after the man called her to say he was in Alaska.
When someone sends you proof that theyve purchased weapons. Proof that they know where you live. And said that they are looking into purchasing a one-way plane ticket to Alaska and then calls from a cell phone with a 907 number, its over the line and we need protecting.
Wasilla Police Department also helped the two families put together a safety plan, she said.

All right guys, fess up, who was it? I know many of you have Palin crushes, but this is going too far. :)
A restraining order isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. Real protection lies in the force of arms.
Ok, so the guy has guns...so does Sarah and Todd and I betcha they know how to use them!
Hence the Wasilla Police Department helping the families put together a safety plan. Pretty open ended statement but I would guess it covers all the bases.
Very deceptive wording for the headline....
And Cole said she and Palin want people to know...
Well seems to me like when Sarah wants us to know something, she tells it herself.
I would close my eyes in this life cheering-loudly if I was able to stop a bullet that was meant for one of the Palins with my body.
The headline reads like Palin is the stalker.
(Just kidding, PA)
Especially when that politician has received death threats:

strange use of a comma in the headline ... perhaps “against stalker of Palin, Cole” would have been better. Otherwise, a casual read makes one think Palin was served with the order.
Joking aside, a photo and physical description of this guy are needed. Home address, cell and land line numbers, name and location of workplace (other than Mommy’s basement), would be great to have too. After all, bear’s have to eat!
But what it does is offers a virtual license to use deadly force to protect one’s self.
Did a quick search on FB for Shawn R. Christy and it didn’t offer much.
((((((((Palin Ping))))))
Wow, that nutcase got pretty close. I seriously doubt that a simple restraining order will hold him back though, so I hope the Palin and Cole households are well defended with the highest quality anti-intruder firearms.
I'll bet that plan includes some range time.
Now that was FUNNY...
I’m sure Todd and his buddies have their own plan. Can’t see Todd as a guy who’d sit back and let the police take care of this. Heck, Sarah could take care of it too.
Not remotely funny. Exactly antithetical to it, as a matter of fact.
