Police Investigating Rock Attack At Marietta Apartment By Jocelyn Connell, CBS Atlanta Reporter

-- After fighting for his country, a World War II veteran is now fighting for his own life following a brutal attack.
Cobb County police said two teens beat 94-year-old Paul Smallwood with a rock in his own home.
It happened Friday night at the Crescent Square Apartments on Austell Road.
Smallwood's great niece, Sandra Womack, told CBS Atlanta Smallwood has severe head injuries and is in critical condition.
"He's a veteran. He didn't deserve something like that," said Larry Domiano.
Domiano found Smallwood. The two are neighbors, and Domiano fondly calls Smallwood "Pops".
Domiano was talking to Smallwood on the phone when Smallwood put him on hold to answer a knock at the door.
"I heard someone in the background ask if they could get a soda," said Domiano.
Minutes passed, and Smallwood never returned to the phone. Domiano, growing concerned, went to check on his elderly neighbor. He said he'll never forget what he saw next.
"His eye was puffed out real bad, and his head was all bloody and opened up," said Domiano.
Police said two teens had hit the man in the head with a large rock.
Domiano said all they took was the man's cell phone, $27, and some medication.
Police said Monday morning they have a good lead on one suspect and expect to track down the second suspect soon.
Oh and this was obviously a "hate crime" against the two wonderful black youts. The old white guy shoved his head under the rock swung by the black youts trying to get them to hurt their hands. The should prosecute him to the fullest if he lives as anything other than a vegetable

Rocks need to be outlawed or at least people need to have a permit to have or carry a rock. Rocks kill and maim. Our children could get their hands on rocks and accidentally hurt someone if rocks are not locked up in cabinets.
Cobb County is not-so-slowly turning into a wretched third-world $&!%hole, but nobody has the stones to identify the problem and do something about it. After 15 years living here, my neighborhood is just about shot to hell with rentals and Section 8 dumps. I'm officially sick of living here.
Atlanta isn’t all that different from Detroit , Baltimore, or Wash DC, etc. It has a protected class of citizen for whom all government services are provided and then it has the taxpayers who support the burden. In this case the protected class just decided to eliminate the government middleman and take what was owed to them directly. They probably thought the old guy didn’t have enough “skin in the game.”
Wasn’t there a piece of paper lying about that he could have used to protect himself?
It occured to me that it was a good thing that the old guy didn’t have a firearm with which to protect himself. If he had he might have hurt two of the precious beloved black welfare class scumbags that the government exists to serve at the expense of those who actually contribute (or in his case past tense) to the well being of society.
Can we outsource their stoning to Iran? Or perhaps someone Saddam’s boys trained on their people shredder?

Yep. Youts showing that they're willing to think outside the box in a couple of ways. First most humans would not have attacked an old guy, and second the ingenious use of the rock to ensure that his injuries were extremely severe.
Assuming they are ever apprehended, they'll be treated with kid gloves due to their age and skin color. After a few years in a "special school", they'll emerge at age 18 with expunged records and advanced thug training courtesy of the taxpayers.
I'm sure nothing too bad will happen to them because of their age and their racial composition. Because they're juveniles, you won't see their picture posted or their names mentiond, but I'm sure their mug shots are showing the smug look all too common on criminals who know that they won't suffer too much for their crimes. My personal suggestion would be to tie them up and give all of the old guy's relatives baseball bats and 20 minutes to do what they wanted.
Maybe the Duke faculty will send a letter condemning the attack like they did about the innocent white lacrosse players < /sarcasm>
