I heard a comedian once comment on that phrase by saying..."hey,my *oven's* a dry heat but I don't go sticking my head into it".

L.A. broils with triple-digit temperatures - 109 Degrees!

OMG! that is really like so hot! /sarc

Its 78 here on the Gulf coast of Texas with water 83. A beautiful day.

Hey! I was raised in So.Cal and how live in Tn. 109 is nothing compared to a heat index of 115 or 120. It is “DRY” heat. This is the climate from Hell here in West Tn.
