When we do, we should have in place a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject. The UN is a ready-made mechanism for such coordination.
Opinion is divided about how future extraterrestrial visitors should be greeted. Under the Outer Space Treaty on 1967, which Unoosa oversees, UN members agreed to protect Earth against contamination by alien species by sterilising them.
Mrs Othman is understood to support a more tolerant approach.
LOL! PC Tolerance will be granted to Space Aliens!

I’ll go for it if the UN is the first building to “go.”

Look at the bright side—this is the person who gets killed or has their mind taken over in the first scene or two in most science fiction movies.

Like I said before — the U.S. Air Force can do all the talking on our behalf. No foreigner speaks for America — especially not that freak.

Why would any E.T contact Earth? The fact that the wing Nut, Ass hat, leftist liberals are in control of the US government proves that there is no longer intelligent life on earth.

Especially irrelevant, considering that everyone knows when the aliens arrive, they will be asking for Ted Nugent.

Okay. got it...
When aliens start probing me or whatever, I’ll just say “That’s not part of my job description” and refer them to the Malaysian lady at the UN.

Take me to your leader
Anyone remember an old rock and roll song from the 1950s about a short alien who comes to earth, sees a tall good looking woman and says...
“Take me to your ladder,
I’ll see your leader later...”

Mrs. Othman, you have your first customer:

Of all the dumb things the UN has done this
HAS to be the dumbest.
Lets say that there are aliens out there that could actualy reach us meaning they have achieved intergalactic travel. What interest would they have in us? We can't travel to another planet let alone another galaxy. If they are out there they ain't coming here.
