Its Nothing, Like An Upset Stomach
Tehran, Iran: A computer worm has seized control of Irans first nuclear power station, just weeks before the facility was ready to go online; possibly explaining Netanyahus reluctance to bomb the facility.
The Bushehr nuclear power plants project manager, Mahmoud Jafari, said a team is trying to remove the worms from several infected computers, but those readers who are familiar with the problem know, without uninfected back-up the situation may be hopeless. Really talented hackers could also infect the components, making any new computer hooked up to the system vulnerable immediately, imagination is the only real barrier for a gifted hacker. If the back-up was available, they would have never admitted there was a problem. Jafari reassures us that the Worm:

This apparently was hit or sent in July. Don’t be surprised if Nut Job, with his non stop meetings while he was here, cut some deals for retaliation.
Rule 1: don’t mess with Israel.
If you have any questions, refer to rule 1.
Exactly my point, just to much going on with Amadjihad in New York. But, I’m sure the Justice Dept, gave him ALL the U.S. Constitution protections while he was spreading his illness.
Too bad. Someone opened up a can of worms on the totalitarians.
Wait ‘till someone opens up a can of whoopass on them.
Life, liberty and the pursuit and destruction of totalitarians.
I heard somewhere that it was because they were using pirated copies of Windows on their systems and didn’t have all the security updates. Not sure if it’s true, but it would be funny.
Rush said that today, but I haven’t seen any articles on it.
when Netanyahu paid his last visit to W in the White House, there were reports out there that W told him to hold off on any attacks, because a covert op was in the works that could take care of it.
If the Iranians would stay off those porn sites they wouldn’t have this problem..................
This really makes me smile. Warfare for the 21st century. Well played, kudos to whoever did it.
Has there been any speculation on how far this sets them back? Seems like it might buy time, but eventually they will be back on line.
Iran has several influential allies that they can trust a little over half the time, including Russia, China, Germany, and the thug in our White House. Israel only has one ally on their side, but He is more than enough. My money is on Israel, not necessarily to win without cost but to win in the end.
The threads started earlier than that. I've been reading about it daily, for several days.

Speaking from Washington on Thursday, Vice Admiral Bernard McCullough, who leads the U.S. Navy’s Fleet Cyber Command, told Reuters that the worm “has some capabilities we haven’t seen before.”
Langner said Bushehr might have been the target, with the attack exploiting the facilitys use of unlicensed Windows software.
All joking aside, IIRC, this worm, called Stuxnet, goes actively searching for Seimens control systems software. It has a ‘profile’ of what those systems look like and knows when it has found it.
