Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). I did make the observation at work a few months ago that our boss resembles the Dad in Family Guy. Now no one in my office can look at him w/o chuckling.

I can honestly say that I have never seen it. Probably still won’t watch it with Rush on it. Other than sports, we do not watch much TV around here. And the sports are minimal too.

The caller wanted Rush to stop rooting for the Steelers because of the owner’s support of Obama!

I'm a big fan of Rush, but I will be skipping his "Family Guy" episode, especially after I read things like this:

For fans of the button-pushing cartoon, "Family Guy," the subject matter of last Sunday's episode was hardly shocking.

Actress with Down syndrome speaks out on cartoon that angered Sarah Palin. Chris Griffin, the show's awkward teenager, goes on a date with Ellen, a girl with Down syndrome.

"So what do your parents do?" he innocently asks.

Her response?

"My dad's an accountant, and my mom is the former governor of Alaska."

That one-line jab at Sarah Palin's special needs son, Trig, has led to a war of words between Palin and Seth MacFarlane, the cartoon's irreverent creator. Now, the battle between the two is being waged on TV, with a little-known actress caught in the middle.

And the actress who said the one-line jab?

Andrea Fay Friedman, 39, has Down syndrome. In addition to the "Family Guy" voice over, she has also worked on TV shows such as "Life Goes On" and "Law & Order" and gives motivational speeches around the world about Down syndrome.

Friedman said her "Family Guy" character should be inspirational to others with the disability. And she said the episode wasn't written to poke fun at Palin's son. It was designed to poke fun at the former governor.

"Sarah Palin didn't even get the joke," Friedman told ABC News.

"It would be nice if she did have a sense of humor. Come on Sarah, laugh a little," she added.

What was the joke?

Sitting at a sports bar watching 9 games at one time, do we ask each other if we're Dems or Repubs?
We just don't care when it comes to sports.

I can’t stand Family Guy either. But I’ll be watching this Sunday.

If I can get through Bill Maher, Colbert Report or The Daily Show with Jon Liebowitz I can take FG.

OT, I can’t believe 2, count them TWO, Sunday talk shows used a segment form the Daily show as legitimate “opinion”. He even calls his show “fake news”. Too Bad Mitch McConnell or Mike Pence didn’t have the temerity to tell Greggy and Christiane Imawarwhore to stick it up their microphone.

It’s one thing to make fun of the politician, like SNL did with Tina Fey, but to go after her special needs kid? I just can’t stand that, especially after all of the other attacks her children have had to endure.

Just another double standard....
