Dressed in a t-shirt and Army shorts, a 22-year-old corporal from Wasilla, Alaska casually describes on a video tape made by military investigators how his unit's "crazy" sergeant randomly chose three unarmed, innocent victims to be murdered in Afghanistan.

Why and how is this tape on ABC??????
Why do these 2 words instantly cause my BS detector to start flashing???
Ditto.
Absolutely.
double ditto
Oh, nothing tactical about stressing THAT little fact, right, ABC???
Kerry move...guess he thinks he will wind up in politics
lol...Kerry all over again...have to sign up to post..
Likewise if anyone believes there will be an active investigation to learn who the bottom-feeding scumbag (My bet is some ambulance chaser in JAG) was that slipped this highly inflamatory and damaging vid to ABC, you are living in la-la-land.
This may or may not be what happened, but after my having lived thru the same anti-war/military tactics after Nam--as well as witnessed how our Military appears to be more interested in prosecuting our Troops than prosecuting any War against the bad guys--I'll reserve judgment.
This sounds suspiciously like another attempt to implement a Haditha-type railroad job. I’ve pinged some folks from the Haditha list - do any of you have any info about this incident?
Don’t know a thing about this but Army CID should have the head of the person or persons that leaked this video.
Well, technically, Wasilla is the closet ‘city’.
From the local Valley paper
three Afghan civilians has stunned some in this close-knit community.
Army Spc. Jeremy Morlock is accused of three counts of premeditated murder and one count of assault. The 22-year-old Wasilla man was a Houston High School student and played on the schools hockey team before entering the military in June 2006.
So, ya, he is from Alaska.
This is the first I’ve heard of this, but it stinks on ice. Gotta agree with jazusamo, the puke who leaked this needs to be turned inside out by Army CID.
It really does stink, did you notice his body language?
Yeah, he really was out of it. I wonder if he even remembers being interviewed.
(1) they were made under the influence of muscle relaxants
(2) sleeping pills
(3)anti-nausea medicine
All were prescribed for repeat concussions.
He was, in fact, evacuated from Afghanistan for what was believed to be traumatic brain injury when he was questioned in May.
This is looking suspiciouser and suspiciouser and makes me wonder if the interrogators weren't also concussion victims.
Makes me wonder about the Command too ~ where do they allow modern medicine to start up and the rigors of the battlefield pass on.
When it looks like the command has plied a guy with heavy narcotics and extracted a "confession" you just know its kinda' fishy ~ maybe even career ending for somebody.
Which brings me back to my original suspicion that this is a set up to another Haditha-type railroading and media frenzy.
What has become clear for some time is that our military’s command and justice systems have been penetrated, compromised and corrupted by people who are our enemies, whether consciously or not.
BTW, these people always think they are invisible ~ confusing that quality with the fact that we can see right through them to their intentions.
Good thing he didn’t burn any Korans.
