Interviewing David Axelrod on Sunday’s This Week, Christiane Amanpour asked him to explain why “people don't appreciate some of the amazing legislative agenda” that President Barack Obama has “accomplished,” then with Senator Mitch McConnell she denigrated Republican Senate candidates who are Tea Party favorites:
“Are you not afraid that their somewhat, one would say, some might say bizarre statements, their sort of fringe quality might actually turn people off?” She also condescendingly demanded of McConnell:
“What is Christine O'Donnell's qualification for actually governing? What is Sharron Angle's actual qualification for governing?”
In a third segment, she cued up Jordan’s Queen Rania to confirm “Islamophobia” mars America: “You've seen the reaction and the fallout from the Islamic center, but it goes broader than that. Do you see a sort of a dangerous Islamophobia in the United States?”
While she repeatedly pushed Axelrod about why Democrats were delaying a vote on extending the Bush tax cuts for “the middle class,” with McConnell she tried to discredit extending the tax rates for everyone, childishly describing how “there's also this huge thing that the people of the United States are worried about, and that is the deficit, and keeping the tax cuts will add trillions to that.”

Is this the same Amourpor that did all that quality reporting on Bosnia? Oh yeah, she is a muslum, now we know why we ended up supporting the europeeing ragheads against the Christians. Man, that Billy Clinton was something. Jumped into a europeeing civil war without authority and knocked out all underwriting standards at Fannie and Freddie. What is Christine O’Donnell’s qualification for actually governing? What is Sharron Angle’s actual qualification for governing?.................................... Oh, I see, they were never a community organizer? Then again just what are the qualifications? Where are these required qualifications in the job description? At least there is no question about either of them being natural born citizens, not that it maters for a senator or Representative. The qualification is vision and the desire to uphold the rules of law that our government is suppose to adhere to.

Amanpour has never been questioned about this work of “art.” Imagine eating dinner while looking at THAT???
That’s the painting I’m talking about. You can’t enlarge it to see it in its full, gory atrociousness. The New York Times (where this first surfaced) has taken down the painting from its site but left the interview in which she says it is her favorite possession.
