Ah, yes, the same Clintonista Jamie Rubin who was Madeleine Albright's chief apologist as her assistant Secretary of State in DC.
Amanpour, also affectionately known as "The Desert War Slut" has been described this way......
"She flies into places more dangerous than WW2."
Oh, yes.
"She flaunts her well-worn flak jacket like Gunga Din. She struts into rooms with the same cocksure certitude that her mere presence elevates a routine interview into a world event.
"This is how journalists become icons to the modern eye. They play one on TV.
"And nobody covering the war in Afghanistan played the part as well as Amanpour."
And, I may add, I think she fancies herself a female Edward R. Murrow, calm, cool and collected....and nicely coiffed under the Muslim headpiece.......in the midst of war, carnage and chaos.
