Thoughts From a Former Craigslist Sex Worker
"She's not a good role model. I do not want my daughters to find out about this,"
Who knows, maybe she can teach your daughters how to go forth and sin no more.
(NOT GUILTY, btw...)

If she has reformed and is sincere she could be a very good
role model, and it’s good to have a teacher who has actually
held down a real job for once.

She would have been much smarter to keep her past life private
If she turned her life around then OK, but boasting about it is just looking for trouble
(or a payday from the lawyers -maybe she is NOT an ‘ex’ whore after all)

...frankly, I don't mind if she teaches the 3rd grader ... however, I DON'T want her teaching my 16 year son in high school ...

Sex worker - What else can someone with an MFA in creative non-fiction do??
(Sorry to those of you holding an MFA, but it is one of the more useless degrees, only 1% of grads have a job in that field)

someone should check if the Pimps union has made a big donation to congress. Pimps are the real beneficiaries of the changes to Craigslist, which had allowed hookers and johns to cut out that middleman.

Eh, I don’t know if I’d PAY for it, she’s not a monster though.

"From October 2006 to January 2007, I accepted money in exchange for sexual services I provided to men I met online in what was then called the 'erotic services' section of Craigslist.org," wrote Petro on The Huffington Post, using her real name and picture. While I'm all for "second chances," and have known a number of former drug users and prostitutes that have turned their lives around, the above shows some very poor judgment. The only reason I can see for writing and posting something like that would be if she was being blackmailed, or someone was threatening to go public with the information against her, in order to diffuse the situation, somewhat.
"I don't want nobody that used to do that to be around my kid," said Grace Ventura, whose son is in third grade. "People like that should not be allowed to be anywhere near children."
I have mixed feelings about this statement, but a parent has the right to decide who should and shouldn't be allowed around his or her children. Again, as I mentioned above, she appears to have pretty poor judgment, and from that, more than her past, I'd be hesitant to entrust my children with her.

If the woman was truly a changed individual, I wouldn’t have a problem with this. But since she seems to be bragging about her “sexcapades” in the public forum, I certainly wouldn’t want any kid of mine anywhere near her. She’s as much a deviant as she ever was.
