Democrats' houses of corruption

Like millions of Americans, Delaware Republican Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell has had trouble covering her mortgage and other bills over the years. Her opponents consider this a scandal. But there's a bigger disgrace: all the sanctimonious Democrats who've exploited their political incumbency to pay for manses and vacation homes -- while posing as vox populi.

Vice President Joe Biden has a house in Delaware's ritziest Chateau Country neighborhood worth at least $2.5 million. He secured the estate with the help of a corporate executive who worked for Biden's top campaign donor, credit-card giant MBNA.

In 1996, Biden sold his previous mansion to MBNA Vice Chairman John Cochran. The asking price was $1.2 million. Cochran forked over the full sum. Biden then paid $350,000 in cash to real-estate developer Keith Stoltz for a 4.2-acre lakefront lot. Stoltz had paid that same amount five years earlier for the undeveloped property.

Stoltz told the Wilmington News Journal that "the residential real-estate market was soft" at the time he sold the land to Biden. But Stoltz was a well-off businessman who didn't appear to be in such dire financial straits that he needed to unload the property in a weak market.

Reporter Byron York looked at comparable properties in Biden's neighborhood and found three cases where homes in the area went "for a good deal less than their appraised value. In comparison, it appears Cochran simply paid Biden's full asking price."

100% spot on! The real scandal is fact that many Senators and Congressmen and women enter Congress with modest means but then leave as very wealthy individuals, usually with multiple homes, properties, and SUVs.

Then there's President Obama's own $1.7 million Chicago manse -- which was financed with a discounted mortgage from Northern Trust and included a shady land swap with convicted felon donor/developer Tony Rezko. A report released by the Federal Election Commission in February 2009 underscored that the Obamas received reduced loan rates (saving $300 a month, or $108,000 over the life of a 30-year loan) because of their high-profile positions.

Psychological projection - Psychological projection or projection bias is a psychological defense mechanism where a person unconsciously denies their own attributes, thoughts, and emotions, which are then ascribed to the outside world, such as to the weather, a tool, or to other people. Projection reduces anxiety by allowing the expression of the unwanted unconscious impulses or desires without letting the conscious mind recognize them. An example of this behavior might be blaming another for self failure. The mind may avoid the discomfort of consciously admitting personal faults by keeping those feelings unconscious, and redirect their libidinal satisfaction by attaching, or "projecting," those same faults onto another. In psychopathology, projection is an especially commonly used defense mechanism in people with certain personality disorders: 'Patients with paranoid personalities, for example, use projection as a primary defense because it allows them to disavow unpleasant feelings and attribute them to others'[17]. Indeed, all 'the primitive defenses, such as splitting, [projection] and projective identification, are commonly connected with primitively organized personalities, such as borderline personality disorder': Narcissistic personality disorder, Antisocial personality disorder, and Psychopathy.

Ah, but we peasants need to keep in our own class, you know!

When you think about how rich many in the Congress, the president and cabinent members have becoem over the last decade, you wonder if they make their insider’s trades just a few minutes before announcing/voting on legislation that affects the markets. They have to know that their decisions force ups and downs...and it would not surprise me to find out that they play the markets fairly close.

The brazen hypocrisy of the evil and corrupt Democrats and some Republicans is amazing to see. They refuse to look at the substance of the message that the people of Delaware are losing their jobs, their homes and their entire hard-earned way of life because of the Socialist/Marxist philosophy Culture of Death represented by Democrats and the current Administration.

Instead, they want to focus on the personal life of a clearly intelligent and competent candidate for Senate who would be a breath of fresh in the stench of a Democrat controlled Senate.

And that explains the lengths to which they will go to hold onto their power.

...”And still the minions and masses vote them in”...

Because they promise to steal for those masses the same way they robbed for themselves. This will take us down and history will record the destruction this era will eventually bring to mankind. The parasites will nearly always overcome strength until total collapse happens. They are no different than the termites which destroy houses if not treated early and aggressively. We now have to face whether or not the foundation of our national “house” is too far gone. All the Washington D.C. greed is “coming home to roost,” and for what? So that a very small group can enjoy a royal lifestyle for a brief second in history? I do not believe that God is going to be mocked in this way. I do not know when, where or how, but I do know that justice will come.

Biden’s first house in North Star, an upper middle class suburb, was bought and sold for a substantial profit (mid-70’s and high 150’s, as I recall). He leveraged that into the second house, the one he sold to Cochran.

The present house is about 3 miles from my home, but it might as well be in Hollywood. It is completely isolated from the rest of the world.

BTW, Mike Castle is no slouch here. His home is in one of the most exclusive areas of Wilmington. WAY too expensive for another “man of the people”. Ha! All of these politicians are products of elite families and elite schools. How can they possibly relate to us that have to struggle to pay our bills?

Christine O’Donnell knows.

Biden's Delaware estate.

Biden tapped campaign funds to pay for lawn needs.

Hah. Betcha he tapped more than campaign funds. Keep in mind Ohaha put Biden in charge of the $2 trillion stimulus pkg and that millions in stimulus are being hidden in the states for endangered Dems (unused portions then wire-transferred offshore to numbered accounts). Read on.

Fraudster had links to offshore fund run by Bidens
Reuters on Yahoo | 2/23/09 | BY Ajay Kamalakaran

(Reuters) – A fund of offshore hedge funds run by two members of VP Joe Biden's family was marketed exclusively by offshore firms controlled by Texas financier Allen Stanford, charged by regulators with an $8 billion fraud, the Wall Street Journal said. The Bidens $50 million fund was jointly branded between the Bidens' Paradigm Global Advisors LLC and the offshore Stanford Financial Group entity headquartered in Antigua, and was known as the Paradigm Stanford Capital Management Core Alternative Fund, the paper said. Stanford-related offshore companies marketed the Biden fund to investors and also invested about $2.7 million of their own money in the fund, the paper said, citing a lawyer for Paradigm.

Paradigm Global Advisors is owned through a holding company by the vice president Biden's son, Hunter, and Joe Biden's brother, James, according to the WSJ. Paradigm's attorney, Marc LoPresti, who represents Hunter Biden and James Biden, as well as Paradigm, told the paper he did not know which Stanford entity invested the roughly $2.7 million.

Marc LoPresti, who represents Hunter Biden and James Biden told the paper the Bidens NEVER met or communicated with Stanford. (/snicker)

Just did some research on Delaware and there are only 415,000 registered voters {not counting the dead, felons and double or triple absentee ballot voters}.

Christine O'Donnell has about $2.6 million.

She should just offer each demonRAT, $25 for the first 100,000 audited, legal, absentee vote submitted.

Why bother to run ads, just do what the demonRATS do, buy the bum's vote and help with the stimulus.
