"The September 15-22 survey contacted 1,511 respondents, including 838 likely voters." Got to hand it to the liberals, they got their headline. A poll of 1,500 people, without party affiliation information in which half of those polled are not likely voters. What a worthless pol..

Truth is, it would take a genuine miracle for anybody but a fruitcake leftist to win statewide office in California.

Not worthless. It’s doing EXACTLY what it was intended to do, DRIVE HEADLINES, and create the meme that Democrats aren’t sucking wind, after all.
It’s goal is to drive REPUBLICAN voters in CA to stay home.

The ‘RATS have got to give us some of the credit. We on the right have done a pretty good job of trashing Whitman and Fiorina.

The last liberal holdouts are concentrated along the pacific coast and the North Eastern United States. The rest of the country has finally seen Obama for the affirmative action poster boy that he is.

California has gone irretrievably to the dark side. A microcosm of the future US unless we do something about in on November 2.

“The September 15-22 survey contacted 1,511 respondents, including 838 likely voters.
Here is the problem, according to their screening over 55.5% of respondent are likely voters.
Actually turnout of the last 4 midterms is 37.5%, with the highest being 40.4%.

I commented on this poll earlier.
You conformed my suspicion.
Only half of the respondents in this poll even matter.
The other half, not necessarily even registered voters or adults, are included simply to dilute the poll and give the desired result.
It doesn’t matter though, Democrats are toast no matter how mNy phony polls they release.

I doubt that poll is at all accurate. What I can say is that the Dems are spending a bloody fortune in my Congressional District where Mary Bono Mack is being challenged by Steve Pougnet, the gay mayor of Palm Springs. Just about every commercial break on every channel has a Pougnet ad.
As for state-wide offices, they are pouring a bunch of money into the Senate and Governor races. It ain’t over till its over, and there are a lot of ticked off voters here. So, don’t believe the polls.

Is there a tie-in between the "Perp Walk" for the Bell (city) Administration and AG Jerry Brown's resurgence? Does a bear sh*t in the woods? Of course the fact that he has been AG for California over the past several years and done nothing there has no consequence. The fact that he was mayor of Oakland and arguably left the city worse off than when he started is also of no consequence.
What is consequential is that he is a LIBERAL DEMOCRAT and that is of consequence to the LA Times and the SF Chronicle and the Sacramento Bee and all of the California labor and minority-rights organizations. Say good-bye to the "Golden State" and hello to the "Iron Pyrite State" (aka "Fool's Gold"). [In all honesty, the "Golden State" ended 20 odd years ago.]

Look for an endless string of the phony polls as we get closer to election day.
The internals prove they are designed to mislead.
