Rove Returns, With Team, Planning G.O.P. Offensive (Do not donate to Tokyo Rove)
NY Times ^ | 9/26/10 | JIM RUTENBERG

Posted on 09/26/2010 4:53:35 AM PDT by jimbo123

In 2004, the Republican master strategist Karl Rove led weekly sessions at his Washington residence where, over big plates of his butter-smothered “eggies” and bacon slabs, he planned the re-election of President George W. Bush — and what he hoped would be lasting Republican dominion over Democrats.

Rove is worse than just an (R). He has always been toxic sewage waste as the lead enabler of RINOs. He and his ilk in the GOP are all going down. We are going to smoke them out, purge them completely from every district, local and federal.

NO MORE RINOs!

Sorry South Philly. Liberals don’t get my vote, they don’t get my support, and their primary challengers do. RINO hunting season, every election, from now till I die.

I heard from an inside source that Rove was the one who talked W into doing nothing while the pinkos murdered Terri Schiavo

You are WRONG. I say force the RINOs to go join the RAT party and then let them get ALL the blame for the disaster that follows. We will no longer allow them to give RATS cover for their failed policies. Eventually, the American people will see that it is the RATS that are destroying America, then they will give Conservatives a hundred years to govern.

Rove is still one of the best at what he does.

I will always regard with with respect to that end.

I will not delude myself into believing he's in lockstep with conservative ideaology though.

He's free to believe what he wants and when he's willing to contribute to our cause, that's great.

However none of us should ever fool ourselves into believing his personal agenda is anywhere near that of the people.

Over takeout chicken pot pies, the group — the Republican fund-raiser Fred Malek, the onetime lobbyist and Bush White House counselor Ed Gillespie, and former Vice President Dick Cheney’s daughter Mary Cheney, among others — agreed on plans for an ambitious new political machine that would marshal the resources of disparate business, nonprofit and interest groups to bring Republicans back to power this fall.

Head's up!

You need “R’s” to win a majority...all kinds of R’s not all think alike...If we get the majority, we set the agenda, if a few moderate R’s vote with the other side, we still only need 51 R’s to win....think with your brain, not follow the oh no he is a Rino.
____________________________________________________________

Let’s think with our brains.

The only people that have shown themselves disloyal to the party thus far are the RINOs. Murkowski. Crist. Scofflaw, or Scuzza, or whatever her name is. Why are you lecturing the conservatives? Use your brain!

In a wave election the people will vote against the party they are angry at. Get conservatives in power in those elections. The go-along, get-along philosophy has almost ruined our country. It may already be too late. We need to actually change the policies, not just the party label.

The RINO establishment has lost 8 out of 9 elections against more conservative candidates backed by the Tea Party. The establishment needs to be taken over by the Tea Party and the conservatives; they lose elections.

Karl Rove has been in politics in one form or another since his high school days. I don't know about being the best but he sure has been associated and involved with some influencial politicians over his career.

Richard Viguerie, a longtime conservative strategist who has allied with Tea Party activists, said, “We’re all on the same page until the polls close Nov. 2.”

But, referring to Mr. Rove and Mr. Gillespie as part of the “ruling class,” he added, “Then a massive, almost historic battle for the heart and soul of the Republican Party begins.”

Mr. Viguerie -- one of the original Reagan warriors and direct mail guru -- gets it. He knows that the real battle starts Nov. 3. Unfortunately, so do the RINOs and their American Crossroads front group:

Whatever battle Mr. Viguerie predicts, Mr. Duncan said the group would have staying power. “We’re going to be involved in 2012,” he said. “That’s what we’re gearing for.”

Not true. Hofffman (of all people) got defeated in the NY23 Republican primary and is now running third party without the backing of his former tea-party allies.

In a choice between a RINO or a conservative, Rove would prefer the RINO.

Rove makes money by getting candidates elected. Period.

He's not in it (or anything) because he believes in it, he's in it because it puts buttered bacon on the table.

Politics is a despicable whoredom, and he's nothing but a pimp for the biggest checkbook he can crack.

Those of us who have to live with the consequences of his work are rather fed up and quite ready to drive the pimps like him out with the whores like Pelosi.

And good riddance to both.

After watching Rove and Sour Kraut's reaction to Conservative Primary Victories, I asked myself if their remarks would help a CONSERVATIVE or a LIBERAL capaign.

The answer: LIBERAL

You alerted me to this group in July (I think).

I applaud the group for sending or spending $3 Million on Sharron Angle’s campaign and it’s good to know they’ve helped Rand Paul too.

We’ll watch this group closely. I wonder what it would take to get on their mailing list? :)

IMO any money given by this group to conservatives is an investment in them joining the "ruling class." Maybe it will work, maybe it won't.

But true grassroots conservatives like Sarah Palin? Forget it. Rove & co. know they cannot control her.

Sarah Palin, like Viguerie, knows what is coming after Nov. 2. It is NO accident that she put out that tea party video last week and that she is having a joint TV interview with Rush Limbaugh tomorrow night. She's sending her own message to the ruling class Republicans.

Right. Karl Rove isn’t going to be for Sarah Palin.
His group will find another candidate. Likely Mitch Daniels, Bob McDonnell, or maybe Haley Barbour, unless he’s deemed too Southern.
