“What strikes you as powerful about that?”

I just feel a citizen who possesses a CWP would be a very reliable eyewitness in a situation like this. On the other hand, I’m sure there’s lying scumbags out there that have a CWP, so who knows.

Fact: Erik Scott complied with Mosher’s instructions. He put his hands up.

Scott told the cop he had a gun. He was told to drop it. According to his girlfriend he tried to tell the officer he was going to disarm.

He attempted to comply and in the process of doing so was shot to death.

A lot of people need to be in jail including some of the faggots at Costco that precipitated this execution.

Never give a LEOs a reason to shoot.

You need to de-escalate the situation.

You need to manage the situation.

  1. STOP

  2. VERY SLOWLY RAISE YOUR HANDS

  3. DE-ESCALATE THE SITUATION.

  4. THEN IDENTIFY THE LOCATION OF YOUR CARRY WEAPON.

  5. ALLOW AN OFFICER TO RETRIEVE THE CARRY WEAPON.

It is very healthy and good that we are discussing and focusing on this.

By the way, what is this about?

After he was shot, he saw a gun in a “gun rug” fall from Scott’s right side and slide about 4 feet in front of him. He said he later noticed the gun was gone. Eatherton said the gun in a holster shown to him in a photo by Chief Deputy District Attorney Christopher Laurent wasn't the gun he saw.

If you BELIEVE the guy's girlfriend will give an un-biased account and NOT try to exonerate her boyfriend, you either watch too much TV, or are simply in denial of reality.

The End

Exonerate her boyfriend for what exactly? Walking out of a Costco and being shot to death? Witnesses back her account.

The cops and the costco employees will need the exoneration.

Huffing whippet canisters and drinking anti-freeze sometimes interferes with the ability to reason. Check your serum levels.

No, I don’t. I said the COSTCO employees were making the allegation and that there didn’t appear to be a toxicology report in the hearing testimony.

It sure appears now Scott was “carrying while hammered”. A dumbass plan and a recipe for disaster.

So is the "It sure appears now Scott was “carrying while hammered” a legal definition or your knee jerk reaction to the story. From what they said a toxicology report was NOT produced at any time in the hearing. Personally I have MS and I am not always coordinated when walking at all. NO drugs or drinking ever but would a cop then have the right to shot me if I obeyed the wrong order of 3 to 5 that were yelled at me?

So don't blame fellow freepers for coming to a possible conclusion based on shoddy, confusing orders shouted at a man over a period of a few seconds when they faced him with their guns pointed at him.

Sir this hearing did nothing to make me consider it was other than a bunch of adrenalin pumped cops feeling like SF troops (who they are NOT) when confronting a man based on the reports of Costco employees! The cops were going on nothing other than the poor reports of those employees and decided to execute on those grounds.

Might a taser or pepper spray have left a man alive under those circumstances? Probably but a man died because of some skitzy Dime store employees and some cops up for a little action to wear off some adrenalin.

Back to my story, if I tripped around in a store would I deserve to die too??????

Any reasonable person reading the transcripts that have been posted so far would conclude Scott was high on something. He made the mistake of carrying his weapon in such a condition and therefore set the stage for this tragedy.

Most reasonable readers though, would read (and more importantly comprehended) ALL the testimony before coming to the conclusions and assertions you did.

A reasonable person would conclude Scott was on prescription painkillers. Frankly, when they trotted out darn near every employee of Costco in Nevada, and they all talked about how Scott had red eyes and was stumbling around, my BS flag hit the dirt!

For their account to be right, Scott would have needed to walk around the store looking for employees to impress with his state - yet multiple eyewitnesses who don’t work for Costco saw nothing of the sort.

And in my trips to Costco, I don’t get up close and personal with a dozen employees. Their accounts seem...coordinated.

When I carry, it isn’t physically possible for me to disarm with my left hand. At least, not with endangering me and anyone near me.

When I carry IWB, I could if I carry crossdraw. If I carry it at 3:30...nope. Ain’t happening. In my normal pocket carry, no way.

If you believe anything the cops are saying is unbiased, then the same applies. We were told for weeks that the cops had the footage from the cameras.

Now they claim none were functioning-very convenient.

Now we are told Scott had drugs in his system. Why should ANYONE believe this when the cops are lying about the cameras?

Well, I wasn’t there, but based on the testimony so far at the inquest, several witnesses state that Scott did not comply with the order to “show his hands”. No testimony has been offered to suggest that Scott communicated any intent to disarm, but there has been testimony that he reached into his waistband (Mosher did not shoot at that point), withdrew a pistol and pointed it at Mosher, who only then fired at Scott. There will be further testimony, but so far, your version of events has been related in the media, not in court. Not saying it’s dispositive yet, but it’s over the top to claim as “facts” statements that people are unwilling to testify to in open court.

The audio clips entered into evidence seems to cooroborate the Costco employee’s testimony as well. Doubtless additional evidence will come to light, which will either bolster or weaken that, but it is rank hyperbole (or worse) to refer to this as an “execution”. The conspiracy theories are quickly getting excessively convoluted for serious consideration.

The only mistake I see is from Costco employee's and the LVPD intent to kill someone which started with the goofy lying people at Costco making a big deal out of nothing because they don't know the gun laws in the state. Now the inquest is about making this guy look as bad as possible and drag him through the mud while the video disappeared so the city won't get sued and Costco won't be found at fault. This is such a cover up because now it's not about justice it's about MONEY!Nothing is adding up and I can't wait for more people to testify to get the real picture. The Scotts attorney needs to pound on Costco and the LVPD about the socalled LOST video. This is such a dog and pony show and it's so obvious.

Three questions to ask.#1 Was Erick Scott a threat and if so how was he threatening and WHO was he threatening?#2 How many rounds did Mr.Scott get off?#3 When Mr.Scotts gun was found on the premises of Costco was it in his holster?
