The standard execution cocktail is asking for problems. A pint of Dilaudid would put a horse down, is chemically related to stuff that half of these guys injected intentionally on the outside (opiates), and isn’t a paralytic, so there’ll none of this whining about locked in syndrome. It’s not really that complicated.

You beat me by four minutes. Perhaps the moderators would see fit to delete my duplicate thread.

To get to death row, you have to have done something terrible. Up front you have killed someone in a painful way. That person didn’t get a comfortable way to go.

Drop these folks off a cliff on their head. Shoot them out a torpedo shaft at depth. I don’t really care how it’s done, just eradicate them from planet earth.

I do think there must be more to put a person on death row, than merely someone’s word (especially if there’s a vested interest - reduced sentence or whatever).

Other than that, the families of the victims deserve justice a lot more than the guilty deserves compassion.

We’ve got in the neighborhood of 700 on death row. It’s costing us tens of thousands of dollars per year to house them. Light em up...

Brown grabbed 15-year-old Susan Jordan in October 1980, as she walked along Victoria Avenue on her way to Arlington High School in Riverside, and raped and murdered the teenager.

Brown then called the girl’s parents and told them they would never see their daughter alive again and could find her in a particular orange grove.

It figures. If we got serious about murderers, there would be a lot fewer of them IMO. This guy didn’t think he had anything to fear. Why would he?

All this hype about humane treatment..., who protests for the victims. Who walks for the destroyed innocent women? Just family, and it’s straight to the grave-side.

The Lefties are nowhere to be found on those days.

Brown was convicted and sentenced to death back in 1982. It has taken 28 years to finally get through the appeals process. There are only a handful of inmates who have exhausted their appeals. There are still some men on death row in Calif. who were sentenced in the late 1970's and are still appealing their cases.

What a travesty!

I say give them several years, not 30. Then institute justice.

If they need to create a division of the circuit courts that addresses only capital cases in the short term, to get these people executed, then damn well do it.
