14 bucks a month is a bargin for what I get (2 DVD’s at a time and all the streaming I can handle). I’m at a point where I’m condemplating getting rid of cable TV. I get my news from sites such as this and my entertainment mailed to me.

I was rid of cable a full year before I got Netflix.
Never missed it a bit.
Didn’t realize how much I hated channel surfing until I didn’t have to do it anymore.
That $13.99 ($15.05 with tax) 2-DVD plus all the streaming is great.
I started it about 5 months ago. I also got the Roku box for streaming direct to the TV.
Except for a few TV programs, primarily on USA, FX, TNT and A&E, I seldom watch anything on ‘regular’ TV any more. Netflix is adding many more TV series to their streaming.

. . .
We’d do that in a heartbeat if we could but we’re in an area with very limited options for internet connectivity.
