I think because the RATS used reconciliation even though that trick is only allowed for budgets, and certainly not anything of this magnitude to be imposed on the nation's 1/6 of the economy.

This is just one reason why we are going to CRUSH the RAT party on Nov 2 - for imposing a soft tyranny on us. Most everything they have "done to us" in these 19 months have NOT been in favor by the majority in the USA. THE RATS DO NOT HAVE THE CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED AND WILL BE PUNISHED.

The dems still had a filibuster proof senate, and no dem defectors. The senate bill that passed was intended to be a draft - not law. It was to go to conference committee, and then back to both houses.

After Scott Brown was elected they knew they could not get it through the senate, after conference. So Pelosi had the house pass the Senate bill as a reconciliation bill. Reconciliation bills can not be filibustered in the Senate.
