Finally! Someone found a use for all those giant zucchinis people are always trying to pawn off on me.

Moochelle will demand it be organic and probably want you to register it as a deadly weapon.

Moochelle will dip it in chocolate and include it in her “gift baskets”

Just wait until the police offer cash for all zucchinis like they do for guns.

Chuckling at that! Have you tried melting a little butter in a skillet, adding sliced zuchini, cooked and crunched bacon and mushrooms and pouring it over rice? Yum!

There’s an italian zucchini I like that can be used as a summer squash when small, then when it gets big, it can be used like butternut squash. I think it’s called zucchetta rampicante (I may be spelling that wrong)

I'm glad it worked, but I dunno about the "forcing" it to flee part.

Get while the gettin's good. If you take one zucchini, she'll have a bushel of 'em in the back seat of your car before you know it.

“My daughter-in-law and I could not cut it- when we tired a hacksaw, that did not work either.”

Next time, get a Sawz-all, and a carbide-tipped blade. You might be able to get by with one of the bi-metal demolition blades, but carbide WILL work... ;)

At least that way, you could get it into the incinerator... Might solve all your energy problems as well as disposing of the odd zuke here and there.

Well, I am getting tools and things together to be able to do things I need to do without relying on others. Your suggestion of getting a Sawz-all just might not be too far out of line. LOL

I said that only half-seriously, but that half is VERY serious! Mine is actually from Skil, and not as good as a real Sawzall, but it has been extremely useful. The demolition blades I mentioned will cut through nails and bolt in used timber, and they are available in 12” blades. I bought cheap because I wasn't really sure how much I'd use the thing, but when I need to replace it, I'm going for top-of-the-line.

Working with used wood is always a problem regarding old nails etc. Be careful-

My daughter found out how much she enjoys working with power tools when she and her husband built a garage-her husband would explain what she needed to do and then leave her to do, rather than standing over her. Then they added on to the house and the last project was when they built a combination shop for her craft work and his shed for the mowers etc.
