I started reading this long thread and had to start typing before I got too far.

I'm reading a lot of comments from freepers who feel that Rove was "conciliatory" tonight, that he was "backtracking" and actually "complimenting" her. I don't have time to ping to my comment all these folks who think this.

Rove is using a standard propaganda trick....a field in which he's well-versed. To not get into convoluted detail and to describe Rove's MO in plain language.....he's basically praising her with faint damns and then damning her with faint praises in the overly-generous time slots Fox producers are allocating to him on every one of its pundit shows every night.

Rove is accepting every one of these gigs....it's almost as if he's possessed. Is he even sleeping?

Notice what happened tonight after he began his diatribe by being so "conciliatory", soothing and olive-branch-ist. He was putting people off guard. THEN he started to wind up. The anti-O'Donnell words started spilling out of his mouth a mile-a-minute. He didn't blink, change expression, look left or right and he hardly came up for air.

As the words spewed faster and faster, Hannity let him run on. But Karl then started into a sentence or two that was starting on a path of being a little personal about Christine. Hannity quickly cut him off at the pass. But the damage of his long, almost manic soliloquy was done.

Please watch a video with a new eye if you can, keeping in mind my analysis. You'll see what I mean.

The way the Fox producers are rotating the same faces (Rove, Perino, Morris, etal) over and over between the three nightly talk shows is telling. I'm of an almost certainty that it's the producers that are instructing these pundits what show they will be on every night....and Hannity is stuck with Karl's rotation every second night or so because that's what the producers want.

Here's an interesting paragraph from the NYSlimes that sheds some light, perhaps, on Fox's role in the taking-down of Christine O'Donnell....

"The second-largest stockholder in News Corp. - which owns Fox News, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post - is Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talall.

"The prince, nephew of Saudi King Abdullah, owns $2.3 BILLION of News Corp. stock.

"In the past, he's donated $300,000 to projects led by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf who wants to build an Islamic community center near Ground Zero".

To me, it looks like while Fox apparently leans conservative, it's not OUR kind of conservative, but "elite conservative" aka ruling class conservative....the conservatism of Rove, Krauthammer, Kristol, McCain and others.

Christine is evidently perceived by the elites as one who will not play ball with elite Arabs or elite Australian publishers or elite Long Island ex-school teachers....she's been been tapped by them as one of us dangerous, bitter-clinger, hick, no-brain constitutionalists.

The continued, unrelenting attacks on Ms. O'Donnell is indicative of the current elite strategery....and folks, just because it's Fox doesn't mean that the network's wealthy owners and high mucky-muck board members don't have agendas.

It's appearing more every hour that Rove is just the vicious little point-man for Fox management's concentrated assault on a woman possibly holding the key to a majority 51st vote.

Watch these not-too-subtle tactics get overt in the next couple weeks before election. You think things are dirty now??????

Wow. That thread went crazy. When I left it, it was up to about 93. Anyway, I’ll try to find it on Youtube; because apparently something was missed in translation regarding this appearance.

I’ve never liked Rove, never have trusted him and don’t doubt that everything you say is true. He is part of the problem and in large part, responsible for the marxist election. We are in trouble, not only because of who is in office but because of those, supposedly on the ‘right’ side, selling us down the tubes for years.
