CAN THE COUNTY SHERIFF RESTORE CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNANCE WITH THE HELP OF “WE THE PEOPLE?”

(SNIP)

The County Sheriff, as the direct representative of the people, having sworn an oath to support the Constitution and vested by the people with the authority to enforce law and keep the peace, exercises a level of authority second to only one other group – the people themselves. The federal government exercises no authority over them whatsoever. On the contrary, it is the duty of the County Sheriff to allow or refuse to permit federal activities within his jurisdiction based on the constitutionality of such actions, because his primary purpose is to defend the people’s rights and keep the peace.

Imagine the FREEDOM and PROSPERITY we'd enjoy if EVERY county sheriff ENFORCED the CONSTITUTION! No act of the feds would ever take effect unless thousands of local sheriffs ALLOWED it. The Constitution would be almost 100% safe!

In Santa Maria, the city’s police chief, Danny, says that jaywalkers on Broadway are a bigger problem than gangs.... Whoa dude.... That means dead bodies, bullet holes, and knife slashes come in junior to jaywalking.... What a PC pile of poop!

The county Sheriff is the highest elected official in the county. As such he is the chief law enforcement officer.

From the interview:

My favorite part of the Constitution is the Bill of Rights, not because it is a list of restrictions upon the government, but because they happen to be a perfect guideline for how a law enforcement officer should perform his duty while retaining the respect of the community in which he works.

Wow. Someone who really gets it. Not only does he understand that the bill of rights is a set of restrictions on government, but that respecting it is essential to maintain our communities. Excellent!
