My memory of Mario was that he gave these ponderous, never-ending speeches that were essentially content-free. He loved the sound of his own voice. Sort of like a lefty version of Newt Gingrich. Andrew Cuomo doesn’t have the long-winded problem of Mario, but is basically inarticulate and thuggish.

"Have I voted for the mayor? Yes," Cuomo said. Actually, he didn't. The Cuomo campaign had to issue a clarification, saying he was only registered to vote in New York City in 2005 when he endorsed Democrat Fernando Ferrer.
s/b "Actually, he lied." Thanks milwguy.

Mario Cuomo gave us New Yorkers what I have called the Cuomo trifecta. We had high taxes, high budget deficits and bridges that were collapsing. I have always said that I could understand high taxes and high deficits if the bridges didn't collapse. I could understand collapsing bridges (on the New York State Thruway) with low taxes. I could understand high deficits with low taxes and bridges that didn't collapse. But I could never understand high taxes, high deficits and collapsing bridges. Perhaps Andy can explain it all to me.

Perhaps Andy can explain it all to me. Maybe he'd give you his rendition of his father's famous line: That Is Not The Point!

Interesting comparison since the Kennedys and Cuomos hate each oterh ever since his divorce from Kerry Kennedy (Bobby’s Girl) for HER philandering.
