Holder: 'Mockingbird' has lessons for terror fight

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday Harper Lee's famous novel about racial injustice in the South, "To Kill a Mockingbird," still holds lessons for authorities who seek to fight terrorism while preserving the rights of innocent Muslims.

Speaking at the University of Alabama for a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of Lee's only published book, Holder described how Lee's novel illustrates that a system can "grind innocent people into the ground," something he said was important to remember in dealing with innocent Muslim citizens in the United States.

Note his clear attempts at intimidation by having DOJ investigate low-level politicians and private organizations in Arizona.

rights of innocent Muslims

There aren’t any innocent muslims, and they have no rights.

Supposedly they've run computer simulations saying that it isn't, but I've always tended to buy into the thesis that the reason why this is Harper Lee's only published work is because it was written for her by her friend Truman Capote.

As long as we're playing that game, there was a good lesson to be learned in "Red Dawn", as well. Or, "The Patriot", or any number of movies...

But America, 2010, is NOT a movie...grow up holder.

How about Holder showing some concern for the innocent Americans (civilians and military)who continue to be killed by muslims who share the same ideology and goal as the suppposed “innocent” muslims, i.e. the imposition of sharia world-wide and the subjugation of non-muslims. Name one practising muslim that doesn’t have that desire in their heart and mind.
