Comedy Central host Stephen Colbert is slated to testify at a congressional hearing Friday on immigration titled Protecting Americas Harvest, two sources have told The Daily Caller. One Republican source said Colbert will be testifying in character, the Bill OReilly-like muse Colbert uses for his show.
A Judiciary Committee spokeswoman, confirming Colbert would testify, said the hearing matter was a serious issue . . . this is not a TV stunt.
Some Republicans have already expressed unhappiness with Colbert witnessing at the hearing, thinking it would make light of a serious issue. The hearing is before the House Judiciary Committees immigration subcommittee....
The Sequel to Wall Street opens Friday. "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps." It begins with Gecko getting out of prison. If the early reviews are good, I may see this one in the theater.
Hell in a hand basket!
Committee Republicans should boycott....
DONT SHOW UP

Here are your GOP reps on this committee. Let 'em hear from you.
This serves one purpose: to promote and enlist illegal immigration activists to attend the mock 8/28 rally. They know apathetic stoners aren’t going to give them the numbers they need to minimize what Beck did.
Please...someone in the audience hit this bum in the face with a cream pie while he is “testifying”.
This is probably another of many why Congress’s ratings are so low. We have problems in this country.....BIG Problems. So what does Congress do? They bring in “experts” like Colbert, some who has claimed he had 1 day being a migrant farm worker. They have done the same with Meryl Streep and Robin Williams.
I am not opposed to have people testify before Congress related to topics of concern. But those called should be EXPERTS in their fields and not media whores who played a part on tv.
How much money and time was wasted bringing in this schlep Colbert?? The only thing he is an expert in is being an unfunny partison “entertainer”
