Stephen Colbert to testify before House immigration subcommittee Friday

He was called “Mr. Gekko” by a reporter, as if the reporter didn’t know that Gordon Gekko was a character he played in a movie. He was a major Wall Street player in that movie.

The Sequel to Wall Street opens Friday. "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps." It begins with Gecko getting out of prison. If the early reviews are good, I may see this one in the theater.

This is probably another of many why Congress’s ratings are so low. We have problems in this country.....BIG Problems. So what does Congress do? They bring in “experts” like Colbert, some who has claimed he had 1 day being a migrant farm worker. They have done the same with Meryl Streep and Robin Williams.

I am not opposed to have people testify before Congress related to topics of concern. But those called should be EXPERTS in their fields and not media whores who played a part on tv.

How much money and time was wasted bringing in this schlep Colbert?? The only thing he is an expert in is being an unfunny partison “entertainer”
