Bam's to-do list

President Obama this week challenged the Tea Party movement to "be specific" and outline its plans.

Wow. Is it really possible the prez still doesn't get what's fueling Tea Partiers' white-hot resentment and mounting electoral victories? Because surely they couldn't be clearer about their priorities:

* Less spending.

* Lower taxes.

* Smaller government.

"The challenge for the Tea Party movement is to identify specifically: What would you do?" Obama said. "It's not enough to say 'get control of spending.' "

We're not sure why not.

But it remains that Tea Party (and other) candidates have racked up wins based on some very specific prescriptions to rein in runaway spending.

What, specifically, do they say should be cut?

* The endless "stimulus" packages: Obama and the Democrats saddled America with a $787 billion white elephant last year. And while some of that money's already spent, hundreds of bil lions have yet to leave DC.

The only reason he wants the Tea Party to present detailed plans is so that he’ll have something to attack and demagogue.

Every spending bill should have a funding source without borrowed money. Isn’t that what Obama said he’d do with Pay-Go?

Hmmm...a novel idea is one that Sarah Palin did in Alaska. How about bring in the revenue one year. And then you can only spend what you have brought in the previous year.

"The challenge for the Tea Party movement is to identify specifically: What would you do?" Obama said.

For the PRESIDENT to say this (yes, 0 is the POTUS, though he acts more like a pampered poof), is the verbal equivalent of, "I have no clue of my own about how to govern successfully -- why don't you give me something I can challenge, or repackage as my own idea?"

Now why would Obama ask for specifics from such a fringe, crazy element like the Tea Party? (sarcasm)

Man, is he getting desperate.

“why don’t you give me something I can challenge, or repackage as my own idea?”

“Or use to initiate an endless Cabinet seminar in which I can monopolize the conversation and have the MSM fawn over my brilliance?”

That, and he'll tear into them hoping to make someone mad enough to call him a name, so he can denounce the whole Tea Party movement as them ..... meaning white people in bedsheets.

He thinks Americans are so stupid that they think there’s a Tea Party with an official structure and official leaders. We aren’t. I can draft a Tea Party manifesto. Why not.

Job 1: Take Congress.

Job 2: Take the Presidency.

Job 3: Cut spending and cut taxes.

Done.

Job 4: send the moslem/marxist poser to prison at Gitmo.

Obama wants specific details?

That's pretty rich, coming from a guy who, throughout the 2008 Campaign did nothing except speak in vague generalities ("we've got to improve race relations in America", "we've got to get this country moving again", etc.), offering no details or plan.

Obama, Master of Hypocrisy, once again.

I saw this sound bite—obviously written FOR Bam by someone in his political spin department.

He obviously has no clue about what the Tea Party means, and is arrogant beyond belief to be TELLING the Tea Party what to do.

He is truly a fascist.

The pampered poof is certainly a former junior US Senator from Illinois. Whether he is eligible for a higher title is a different question, one that he has spent over a million dollars evading.

He wants details? How about shut down Depts of Ed and Energy. Neither have produced ANY education or energy — total and complete wast of money over decades. Both have made havoc out of their respective industries.

Keep the nuclear weapons and nonproliferation programs in Dept. of Energy, but transfer them elsewhere.

Then pass a tax code where EVERY worker has to pay income tax so that everybody has skin in the game. None of the stupid “credits” that get your tax liability to less than zero which turn the tax code into a welfare program.

That’s a couple of good starters, but only for discussion here on FR. The bastard is trying to trap the good guys into a picayune debate that would inevitably devolve to “Republicans want to kill your SS.” Don’t fall for it.
