If Iran’s actions were treated with the correct measures we would have never gotten to this point. By ignoring a direct acts of war we have enabled the enemy to obtain weapons that will eventually have a significant impact on that territory.

Truman wouldn’t let MacArthur prosecute the war and defeat a Red China at its weakest. Heck, he wouldn’t even defeat the North Koreans; preferring to talk to the barbarians.
