I thought I was reading an old news story from years ago. Seems Jesse said almost the same thing after his affair was discovered that he had with a woman, who gave birth to his illegitimate child. I remember him apologizing for his "mistake" then.
Just a mistake...that's what Dems call something they did on purpose...but get exposed later for their illegal or immoral actions. Just a mistake...and that is supposed to wipe it away. Now, herre's another of his "mistakes" with this supposed offer to Blago. How many "mistakes" do these clowns get?

What is wrong with people? Jackson wants to have an affair and so he asks one of his fundraisers to pay for her flights? These people in Washington are so drunk with power that they lose sight of all propriety and common sense. Never mind the issue of cheating on his wife. Why can’t he pay for his own mistresses? It is the height of stupidity to ask someone else to pay for your mistress.
(OK, I suppose I get the fact that his wife may wonder why his per diem check didn’t come in, but this is no different than any other person who is having an affair - covering his tracks and/or figuring out how to pay for it without the spouse finding out. Jackson got caught and that in itself is no crime, but someone else was paying for the trips, and this may be considered a gift to a congressman which is a crime... but even worse is it sets him up for blackmail - whomever was involved in covering up and paying for his woman on the side could have used this to coerce a vote or other favors).
Since the prosecutors are determined to re-try Rod B. , then I can hope that Jesse Jr. gets called to the stand in the next trial.
Would love to see both him & his blackmailing/extorting daddy go down for the count.
