A tea party group announced a $1 million donation from an anonymous donor Tuesday, a shot of cash to be spent before the election by a movement that has relied on grassroots outreach to fiscally conservative voters.

The nonprofit Tea Party Patriots said it had received the donation from a single contributor who wants it divided up and given to local coordinators by Oct. 4.

The group's spokesman told reporters that recipients of the money must spend it by Nov. 2, but they are barred from using it for ads or fliers that mention a specific candidate

I don’t begrudge the money...but the way the left is spinning this will be that the TEA Party is beholding to “special interests” and fat cats.

And local “coordinators”? What dat?

George Soros? What else are they to use it for? Renting football fields? Something is not good about this.

Who cares what the MSM now says about the tea parties, they were called the KKK on their first outing!

Winning elections takes money.

And if we cannot win at the ballot box, we will have to look into other ways to destroy the men in DC who steal our earnings and private healthcare.

And no one wants that?

Right?

501(c)4’s can only be ISSUES oriented...they cannot give to or support specific candidates...

Boo hiss. Pointless anyway. The candidates should be obvious given the issues here.

That’s ok...
Obama isn’t running for anything!

Run ads against his entire agenda!

Then break it into smaller chunks and give it to those that can donate.

Well, if it’s anonymous, then that person/corporation/organization CAN’T tell the tee party what to do with it. Cuz if they do, then it won’t be anonymous anymore, right?

Why should Tea Party Patriots be rewarded for the effective work of Tea Party Express?

Especially, since Dick Armey head of Freedom Works and co-founder of Tea Party Patriots had this to say about ODonnell in the primary: FReedom Works Refuses to endorse Tea Party Candidate Christine O'/Donnell (in the primary) see video. Don't know about the other races Tea Party Express had a BIG hand in winning, but NO local Tea Party Patriot groups had any involvement in the O'Donnell Race, nor did they apparently have any involvement, nationally.
